Last Friday night I went to see the movie Eat, Pray, Love, starring Julia Roberts and based on the book by Elizabeth Gilbert. It was a spontaneous girl's night out with some ladies from work. It started out as 2 ladies wanting to see the movie, then they started inviting friends, and there ended up being 11 of us! We went out to eat at Hacienda beforehand and then caught the 7pm showing of the movie. It was a good time! It was probably about 90% women in the theater to watch the movie, but there were a few brave men.
It was a good movie, but not exceptional in my opinion. I haven't read the book so I can't compare it to that, although others who had read the book said the book was better (of course).
