Concert

Last Friday night I attended a concert by John McCutcheon and Carrie Newcomer. They are both folk singers, and Carrie attended Goshen College and now lives in Bloomington.


The concert was part of the Performing Arts Series at GC, so I helped sell tickets in the box office. We had very few tickets to sell but thanks to some people turning in some unused tickets at the last minute, I think we were able to get everyone a seat. I bought a ticket for my friend Penny as a birthday present, and Denise went too, so we had a good evening together. We enjoyed coffee at Java Junction afterward. It made for a long day but it was a good folk concert.
