Lunar Eclipse

Last night was cold and clear in Northern Indiana, a perfect evening for viewing the lunar eclipse! Of course, the pictures don't do it justice, but it was pretty cool to see.

This one was taken about 9pm

This was about 45 minutes later.

I am not usually much of a skywatcher, but I had heard about this on the news. And, amazingly, it was a clear night in February. Our winters are usually pretty cloudy and gray around here. It has been nice to have some clear skies for the last few days, but now it is cloudy again.
