Painting finished

I finally finished painting the upstairs hallway that Denise and I had begun back in April. It's not hard to become unmotivated when you don't have much company (hint, hint), but since it was my turn to host small group this week, I figured it might not be too good to have painting supplies and ladders at the bottom of the stairs for little kids to get into.

It also was finally a little cooler in the evenings last week so it was pleasant to be upstairs and painting. We finished the hallway with one thick coat of beige. I had to create a long-handled paintbrush to get the last parts near the ceiling over the stairwell. I think it turned out pretty good. Come see it sometime!
