College Friends Reunion

Last weekend three of my friends from college came to visit Denise, Susie and I! All six of us haven't been together for a LONG time. Two are now married with kids, and four of us are still single (come on guys, what are you waiting for???) Anyways, we talk often about the need to get together, but Susie deciding to go to Lithuania added some incentive for them to come out to visit before she moves away in August.

Since neither me or Susie had enough space to host all of us, and Susie is in the midst of sorting and packing, we decided to get a hotel for all of us to stay in together. It was kind of weird staying at a hotel in my own town, but it was great fun.

They arrived early Friday evening and we went out to eat at Hacienda, then went sailing with Denise's boss Jim on Lake Wawasee. It ended up being a beautiful evening for sailing, even though there had been rain earlier in the day and more rain predicted.

After sailing we made a stop at Wal-Mart for snacks, then hung out in our hotel room, playing games and chatting. We stayed up until nearly 3am catching up and laughing!

The next day we slept in a little bit, then explored Goshen and did some shopping, including going to the Old Bag Factory. We then decided to go to Essenhaus for lunch and shopping. We enjoyed a yummy lunch and some items from the bakery.

All too soon it was time for them to go home. It was great to all be back together again! I hope we don't wait this long to do it again!
