I was at Camp Friedenswald Sunday afternoon through Monday evening working in the kitchen. My main job was baking dessert for lunch and supper, but I also helped out with lots of other stuff too. It was a long day but fun and a nice change of pace from sitting at a desk all day.
This is the cake I made for dessert for supper. It is called Wacky Cake - basically whoopie pies in cake form with whoopie pie filling as frosting. Yummy! I also made this many brownies for lunch.
It rained Sunday night and Monday most of the day, so the percussion section of the band set up in the dining hall between meals. It was loud!
The two new cabins in the Girls Cabin area are coming along nicely. They hopefully will be done in October.
