After the World of Coca-Cola we went across the street to Centennial Olympic Park, which was developed for the 1996 Olympic games hosted in Atlanta. I am sure it is a beautiful park in the summer time, but it was cold and windy the day were there so it wasn't as enjoyable. We did walk through the garden areas and checked out the sculptures and fountains.

The Olympic rings fountain (if you look closely you can see the rings in gray). The fountain goes off four times a day year-round, but it was not scheduled to run near the time we were there. All the bricks surrounding it had names on them - sponsors that paid money for a brick to help build the park.

Part of the LONG list of medal winners. We warmed up a little bit in the snack shop, did a little shopping, then took the train back to the north side of town and our car. We re-grouped in our hotel room, then went out to supper at Chipotle, followed by an evening of watching the NCAA Men's Basketball championship. Too bad Michigan State didn't win.
