Overton pictures
The next part of my vacation was spent in the English countryside and small towns. My friend Rebecca and her husband Earl live in Overton, Hampshire (a small village) which was our home base from Saturday evening through Wednesday morning. Here are a few pictures to give you a taste of Overton.
Susie, Earl, Rebecca and Denise eating lunch at the church picnic.
Rebecca driving on the "wrong" side of the road, and on the wrong side of the car! I didn't drive, but even being a passenger was a weird experience.

Take away = carry out. Saw a wide variety of restaurants, but no Mexican.
A beautiful English cottage in Overton.
The Anglican church in Overton. Very old! The first vicar listed inside started in the 1100's!
Inside the church.
I thought this sign was funny. Watch out for old people!

The front door of Earl & Rebecca's house.
Most English homes have their washing machine in the kitchen!
