Here are the rest of my pictures from my 2 1/2 days in London, July 7-10, 2010!
Beginning with Changing of the Guard:

It was a very hot day when we were there. These guys had to be roasting.

a L O N G escalator down to the Tube station

The British Museum, where we spent an afternoon

We could take pictures in the museum!

Painting on a mummy case.

Denise showing off a fair-trade bag that we found at the museum gift store. Similar bags are sold by Ten Thousand Villages - buy from them instead!

St. Paul's Cathedral (for once, something NOT being restored)

Very helpful signs at pedestrian walkways throughout London. Since they drive on the "wrong" side of the road, its easy to look the wrong direction and step out into traffic.

The Tower of London

Beautiful stained glass in one of the towers.

A
Yeoman Warden (Tour guide) at the Tower of London.

Henry VIII's armor

Walkway at Tower of London

A list of recent Kings and Queens. I'm still trying to figure out the royal family, and how it relates to the Prime Minister, etc. Confusing!

Me at Tower Bridge

A traditional mailbox in England.
This concludes my posts about my trip to England and France. Now on to the more normal activities of life!
