Manowe

The last weekend of January I went on a 24 hour retreat with friends from work. Contrary to retreats I have done at The Hermitage which have focused more on spirituality, this one was about total relaxing and getting away from the stresses of life. We went to Manowe, a retreat center north of Sturgis, MI. Lynn arranged for us to each have a massage - I had mine on Saturday afternoon. It was great! The rest of the time was filled with sitting by the fire, relaxing, eating, sleeping, going for a walk in the snow, reading, and lots of visiting. It was a fun experience and we were all a little reluctant to go home on Saturday evening.
