Review of "Indivisible"

Indivisible by Kristen Heitzmann is set in a mountain town in Colorado, and revolves around the relationship of Tia, a local shop owner and lifelong resident, and Jonah, the police chief and also a lifelong resident. These two are both dealing with difficult past family situations, and have a long personal history which is slowly revealed in the book. If you aren't paying close attention you may miss key points in the story and dialogue. Add to this the story lines of Piper -a new resident and employee at the bakery, Sarge - owner of the bakery who must deal with life-changing health problems, Miles - a man afraid of contact with people, and Liz - the new vet in town, and you get a tightly woven story with a good plot that keeps moving along. When several mysterious animal carcasses are discovered around town, Jonah wonders if it is related to gang activity, but it ends up being much more sinister than that. The books ends with a shooting, a wedding, a kidnapping, a confession, and reconciliation! A good read!
