New Hampshire, Goshen, MA & Yankee Candle

After our time in Bennington, we drove across Vermont to Brattleboro and then into New Hampshire. We wanted to say we had been to New Hampshire and we also wanted to enjoy the beautiful scenery along the way. There were lot of rolling hills and curvy roads, and we enjoyed exploring!

The sign to prove we were there!

Then it was back to our resort for our last night there. We rented the movie New In Town from a Redbox, did a little packing and organizing, and took one last trip to the hot tub!

On Friday morning, we checked out of the resort and headed east on another road trip. We stopped in Pittsfield one last time to drop off the movie, then hit the road. Our destination was the Yankee Candle flagship store in North Deerfield, MA, but we figured out that on the way there was GOSHEN, Massachusetts. Our second Goshen of the trip. We all got out to take pictures of the sign, but that was really about all there was to see!

We arrived at the Yankee Candle flagship store, which is a candle lover's paradise! They had every different kind of Yankee Candle product you could imagine, and lots of other stuff too. We had a good time exploring and smelling candles, and managed to get out of there spending very little money!

The sale room! :)

Yankee Candle also had really nice grounds, so we had a picnic lunch and read for a while before continuing on to our hotel in Springfield.

After we checked into our Holiday Inn we decided we wanted to eat seafood while we were in the east, although not exactly on the coast. After some internet research, we found this local place that served good seafood and had a good reputation. Susie had lobster, Denise had scrod, and I had fish and chips. Yummy!
